Healthy Savings helps you make the most of your grocery budget because it can be used together with other coupons and discounts. 

Healthy Savings is available at no cost to Medica members on the following plans:

  • Medica DUAL Solution® – Minnesota Senior Health Options (HMO D-SNP)
  • Medica Choice CareSM MSC+ – Minnesota Senior Care Plus (MSC+)
  • Medica AccessAbility Solution® Enhanced – Special Needs BasicCare (HMO D-SNP)
  • Medica AccessAbility Solution® – Special Needs BasicCare (SNBC)

Get Started

  1. After you receive your card in the mail, go to the Healthy Savings website and click on Register under New Care or New Member to activate your card.

  2. Once you activate your card, weekly savings on healthy food items are pre-loaded on your card. Choose to have weekly savings emailed to you, or view them on the Healthy Savings website or mobile app. Download the Healthy Savings app:
  3. Shop for the healthy food items offered at participating grocery stores.

  4. Have the cashier scan your Healthy Savings card or barcode on the mobile app at checkout to get your instant savings. It's that easy!

Lost Card

Lost your Healthy Savings card? If you already have a Healthy Savings account, you can log in on the Healthy Savings website or the Healthy Savings mobile app to access your savings. You can find your barcode on the mobile card on the My Barcode page or on your Shopping List on the Healthy Savings website. You can also print a temporary card on the Healthy Savings website.

If you don't have an account and need a replacement card sent to you, you may request a new card through the Healthy Savings Contact Us form. Make sure to select I need a card and enter your mailing address in the Message field.

Medica DUAL Solution and Medica AccessAbility Solution Enhanced are health plans that contract with both Medicare and the Minnesota Medical Assistance (Medicaid) program to provide benefits of both programs to enrollees. Enrollment in Medica DUAL Solution and Medica AccessAbility Solution Enhanced depend on contract renewal.

American Indians can continue to use tribal and Indian Health Services (IHS) clinics. We will not require prior approval or impose any conditions for you to get services at these clinics. For elders age 65 years and older this includes Elderly Waiver (EW) services accessed through the tribe. If a doctor or other provider in a tribal or IHS clinic refers you to a provider in our network, we will not require you to see your primary care provider prior to the referral.
