Services for Healthy Pregnancies

This information is designed to help you and your doctor determine what prenatal and postpartum services are right for you. It is important to note that these services are intended for individuals who have no current disease symptoms or other specific risk factors. Depending on your individual lifestyle and family history, you may need some tests more frequently than others. For this reason, it is important to discuss these services with your physician.

Per the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Medica covers preventive prenatal care with an in-network provider 100% (no member cost share). Not all services listed below are considered preventive and may result in cost sharing to you. It is recommended that you call Member Services at the number on the back of your Medica identification (ID) card if you have questions about your plan coverage.

[Bracketed] items in the table below refer only to high-risk groups and will not be standard for all women.
