The plan, Harmony by Medica is a localized care system product built around a number of key providers including Lifecare, which includes INTEGRIS Health System, and the St. John Health System. The plan will be available November 1, 2018 when the Open Enrollment Period for 2019 begins. A variety of benefit design options are available, including copay plans, health savings account compatible plans, and a catastrophic plan for those who qualify. Enrollment in the plan is available on the Oklahoma Health Insurance Marketplace for coverage on or after January 1, 2019.

Harmony by Medica is available to Oklahoma residents who live in the following counties: Adair, Atoka, Beckham, Canadian, Cherokee, Cleveland, Comanche, Cotton, Creek, Delaware, Garfield, Grady, Greer, Jackson, Jefferson, Logan, McClain, Nowata, Oklahoma, Ottawa, Pittsburg, Rogers, Stephens, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington.

"Medica and our Harmony by Medica provider partners are committed to making care more efficient and accessible in Oklahoma," said Geoff Bartsh, Medica vice president for individual and family business. "Harmony by Medica does that by providing a seamless care experience. We plan to be the trusted health plan of choice in this market for years to come."

Lifecare President Karen Hendren, CPA, FHFMA, said: "We are not-for-profit, independent, community based providers committed to delivering the highest quality care at the lowest cost. We are excited to partner with Medica to bring our fellow Oklahomans a choice to meet their health care needs."

INTEGRIS President and CEO Tim Pehrson said: "Our caregivers want as many Oklahomans as possible to have access to affordable insurance coverage, and we value any opportunity for INTEGRIS' comprehensive continuum of services to be among the choices. With nine hospital campuses and more than 160 family care and specialty clinics across Oklahoma, INTEGRIS is dedicated to ensuring it provides easy access to quality health care for the patients and families we serve."

St. John Health System CEO and Ministry Market Executive Michael L. Mullins said: "For more than 90 years, St. John Health System's mission has been to provide access to compassionate, personalized healthcare for Oklahomans. We're pleased to be among the insurance choices that will allow even more families to get the care they need at one of our six hospitals and nearly 100 clinics and facilities across eastern Oklahoma."

In addition to INTEGRIS and St. John Health System providers, Harmony by Medica members can receive care from University of Oklahoma Medicine and members of the Lifecare network including Comanche County Memorial Hospital, Duncan Regional Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital, Great Plains Regional Medical Center, Jackson County Memorial Hospital, McAlester Regional Health Center, Norman Regional Health System and Northeastern Health System. The network includes more than 1,000 primary and specialty care doctors and more than 20 hospitals. Network providers can be found at medica.com/IndividualPlansOK.

Additionally, care for certain transplants, rare cancers and other complex medical conditions is available through the Mayo Clinic Centers of Excellence program. An allowance for transportation, lodging and living expenses for the patient and one travel companion is included.

Other key features of the plan include access to convenience care, a 24/7 nurse line, fitness deals and programs and Health Advocate. A Health Advocate helps members address health care concerns and can do the legwork to help identify appropriate providers and find answers to questions about claims, costs, procedures and other health matters.

Harmony by Medica is one of two Medica plan options available in 2019 to individuals and families in Oklahoma. Where consumers live determines what’s available to them. "Our commitment to Oklahoma is demonstrated through our continued diverse product portfolio," said Bartsh. "Medica Quest will be offered in Oklahoma counties where Harmony by Medica is not available. Medica is committed to working collaboratively with care systems to provide a range of product offerings to meet the needs of the individual market in Oklahoma."
