June 15, 2016

MINNETONKA, Minn. — Medica today announced that Nichole White, RPh, M.B.A., has joined the organization as Vice President of Pharmacy Services. Her first day was June 13.

White will be a member of the Health Management leadership team. She will play an important role in ongoing efforts to integrate Medica's pharmacy, medical and mental health programs, with the aim of providing effective managed care programs and services for all Medica members.

"The decision to create a new officer-level position to lead Pharmacy Services reflects the increasing importance of pharmacy to the consumer experience and to controlling health care costs," said David Tilford, Medica's President and Chief Executive Officer.

Most recently, White was Vice President and General Manager, Health Plan Division at Express Scripts. Express Scripts is one of the three largest pharmacy benefit managers (PBM) in the country. Prior to her time at Express Scripts White worked in the medication therapy management practice at Fairview Pharmacy Services.
