Medica Launches Medica ONESourceSM Consumer Directed Health Plan Suite
New Technology Partner Evolution1 Brings Flexibility, Innovation to Offerings

Minneapolis — Medica today announced the development of the Medica ONESourceSM suite of Consumer Directed Health (CDH) account products which will be available mid-2015 for new group customers. Existing CDH group business will convert to the new enhanced CDH solution later in 2015.
Medica's new CDH account products will be powered by market-leading cloud technology provider, Evolution1, known for its exceptional consumer experience, integration framework and CDH product innovation. Combining Medica's expertise in the CDH market with Evolution1’s flexibility will enable Medica to introduce new functionality, including:
- Fully integrated Medica online experience to create a one-stop-shop for participating Medica members and employer customers
- A new Medica CDH mobile app offering convenient expense submission using a mobile device camera
- An industry leading multi-account CDH solution for HSA, HRA, FSA and Wellness Incentive accounts that features an HSA product for employers and employees, including interest bearing accounts, investments and reporting
- Payment option flexibility with debit cards for stacked HSA, HRA and FSA accounts
- An improved consumer experience across desktop, mobile and tablets, making it easy to check balances and submit expenses
- Robust employer portal with enhancements in reporting and self-service capabilities
Increasingly, employers are turning to consumer-directed health plans to educate and engage employees in their healthcare and to help manage overall healthcare costs. Industry experts, like benefits consulting firm Mercer, predict that 3 of every 4 employers will offer HSAs in the next few years.
