You'll need information found on your Medica ID card to register for mymedica.com. This includes your group or policy number (five or six digits) and your member ID number (nine digits).

If you don't have an ID card, but you do know your group or policy number, you can register for mymedica.com using your Social Security number instead of your member ID number.

If you have already registered and used mymedica.com before but are now having trouble accessing your account, your group or policy number may have changed.

Check your current ID card to see whether your group or policy number has changed. If it has, you'll need to re-register using your new group or policy number.

Depending on your employer and your health care plan, you may receive your ID card as early as two months before your Medica coverage begins. You can register for mymedica.com as soon as you receive your ID card, but you won't see all the information about your new benefits until the date your coverage starts.

To balance state and federal regulations, Medica's privacy policy limits the claims information you can see for your dependents. Children age 13 and older need to have their own mymedica.com account. They can create their account using their name and date of birth.

Claims for children under age 12 will display on mymedica when the plan subscriber is logged in to the website.

Children age 12 don't have access to mymedica and will instead receive claims information in the mail.

Due to state and federal regulations, spouses and partners must register separately on mymedica.com.
