Fraud Alert

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has issued a healthcare fraud alert that may impact our Medicare members.

Fraudsters are offering COVID-19 tests to Medicare beneficiaries in exchange for personal details. Seniors are being contacted by phone, on social media platforms and in door-to-door visits. The personal information collected may be used to fraudulently bill for services, and unapproved test kits may cause harm to you.

If you think you've been a victim of COVID-19 testing fraud, it's important you let us know.

Please call Member Services at the number on the back of your Medica ID card to report your experience.
